Evanston, Illinois, Roycemore School seeks a Marketing and Communications Manager for Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. Founded in 1915, Roycemore is a highly regarded, co-educational independent school for students from 3 years old through 12th grade. Located in Evanston, Illinois, on the north side of Chicago, Roycemore enjoys a long-standing relationship with Northwestern University.

Position Overview The Advancement Team plays a crucial role in raising awareness, engaging stakeholders, and securing support for the school’s mission and programs. This position requires a combination of marketing, communications, and event coordination skills to effectively promote the organization and drive its success. The position is responsible for supporting the advancement efforts of the school, comprising of marketing and communications, admissions, and development. This position involves implementing marketing strategies, managing communication channels, and coordinating admissions and development activities and events.
Marketing and Communications:
Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to promote the organization’s mission, programs, and events.
Create engaging content for various communication channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and media releases.
Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and signage.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
Digital Marketing:
Manage social media accounts and develop content calendars to maintain a consistent online presence.
Monitor social media trends and engage with followers to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Utilize email marketing tools to create and distribute newsletters and promotional materials.
Create content for online advertising.
Enrollment Support:
Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to support student recruitment and retention goals across all divisions.
Collaborate closely with the Admissions and Enrollment team to align messaging and materials with strategic enrollment priorities.
Create compelling content (digital, print, social media) that showcases the school’s mission, programs, and community to prospective families.
Manage and optimize the admissions marketing funnel through email campaigns, landing pages, and digital advertising.
Provide support for open houses, school fairs, tours, and other admissions events.
Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics to help inform enrollment strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
Ensure brand consistency and quality across all admissions-related communications and materials.
Stay informed of industry trends and competitor strategies to help position Roycemore School effectively in the independent school landscape.
Event Coordination:
Coordinate logistics for events, including planning, communication, programming and registration.
Develop event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage.
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution and positive participant experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing software.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the organization’s mission and dedication to advancing its goals.
Enthusiasm for working in a school environment with students.
