Website Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
Establish structure of and develop and maintain REDD website and its subsidiaries and Social media accounts. Set expectations for and train all Research site authors to maintain the structure, tone and direction of the site(s) to maintain consistency. Gather information and publish with appropriate approvals and ensure all materials published to REDD sites and social media accounts meet those expectations and adhere to the messaging of the Division and UW Brand standards. Create graphic materials for use in digital and print media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, write and edit informative and/or persuasive content for a wide variety of communication vehicles, including but not limited to email outreach, giving day campaigns, websites, newsletters, brochures, video and more.
Create, manage, and optimize REDD website and social media content, including text, images and multimedia. Ensuring it is impactful, accurate, up-to-date, and follows Division messaging and UW Brand Standards.
Collaborate with units and other site authors within the division to produce materials that meet the needs of the unit and maintain the overall tone of the Division website.
Ensure all web and social media content is appropriate, accurate, SEO optimized and ADA compliant.
Monitors website and social media performance using qualitative and quantitative analytics. Report on this analysis.
Regularly reviews entire site and maintains social media posting calendar to refresh, renew, update and remove site content as needed.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Stay current with trends in digital media and higher ed marketing.
Support multimedia production such as photography, video scripting, and editing.
Assist in crisis communication and real time social media response as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience: 1 year work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy .
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or design
Proven experience in website development and management
Experience with digital content creation including websites and social media
Experience creating brochures, newsletters, posters and cards
Strong organizational and time management skills, to manage multiple projects
Experience with Modern Campus CMS
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
