About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
General Ledger Accountant
to join our finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, performing key reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
balance sheet reconciliations
to ensure financial accuracy.
Manage
cash and bank transaction accounting , ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
Handle
intercompany accounting , including bill backs, to maintain accurate records across entities.
Oversee
payroll accounting , ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Execute
construction accounting
processes, tracking costs and expenses effectively.
Maintain and track
fixed assets , ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Manage
prepaids and accruals , ensuring accurate recognition of expenses.
Review and reconcile
asset & property management fees
for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare the
monthly reporting package , providing insights for financial decision-making.
Develop and maintain
audit schedules (ad hoc analysis)
to support internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years
of experience in general ledger accounting or related roles.
English Proficiency
Strong knowledge of
GAAP
and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software such as
QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Nexus or Oracle .
Advanced
Excel
skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Experience working in a BPO is a plus
