Data Engineer Manager
position. It ́s important to mention that this is an hybrid role (You need to come to the office 2 days per week). Our facilities are pretty comfortable, located in Plaza Andares.

What you’ll do:
Own the architecture, design, and implementation of big data platforms and self-service solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the data architecture roadmap and build reliable, observable data pipelines across cloud-native technologies.
Provide technical guidance and best practices as a subject matter expert.
Mentor junior engineers and deliver on ongoing goals while exploring new opportunities.
Stay updated on big data and data visualization trends and evaluate new technologies.
Who you are:
Skilled in ETL development with expertise in Python, Java, or similar scripting languages.
Experienced in cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
Knowledgeable in DW Architecture, OLAP technologies, and designing schemas for self-service tooling.
Experienced with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka, Kinesis, or similar technologies.
Familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
Proficient in BI tools like Looker, PowerBI, or similar.
Strong communication and presentation skills, business acumen, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
8+ years of experience with ETL & Data Architecture working with large data sets (5+TB).
4+ years of leadership or mentoring experience in technical teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
Availability to work rotating shifts and rest days.
The schedule includes two days off per week: one week with days off on the weekend, and the remaining three weeks with rest days during the week.
